MEET OUR TUTORS

Andy Stocks Head Teacher

Andy is our company founder and Managing director.

Andy graduated from the University of Sheffield with BA Hons in Popular Music. During and after his time studying, he played in both original and cover bands in the UK and abroad alongside some of the top names in the entertainment industry.

Andy's teaching career started at the young age of 16 where he would teach from a room in his parents house. During this time he began to learn that teaching was all about the student and no two students are the same. This gave him the opportunity to develop his own approach to guitar teaching which is now passed on to his staff.

Andy firmly believes that our job is to work out how each student learns the best. Some are visual learners, others prefer to use their ear. We adapt to get the best results in the most feasible amount of time.

Over the years, Andy has put many students through the graded curriculum, with them achieving the highest scores for the RGT, LCM and RSL exams. He has also helped his students achieve their dream of becoming full time musicians with many playing gigs and festivals as a job.

Andy is proud of our little community where everyone is welcome. His teaching style is light hearted and fun whilst giving you everything you need to succeed.

Working days Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
